Officer Candidate School (OCS) Pre-ship Event
We will be conducting a OCS pre-ship event for all 2nd Increment shipping for Officer Candidate School.
Date, time, place and additional information will be forethcoming.
New College Loan Repayment Program (CLRP)
Effective 1 January 2008, and in reference to MARADMIN 038/08 the U.S. Marine Corps has authorized college
loan repayments for Fiscal Year 2008 (FY08). Any Officer Candidate that will be commissioning from 1
January 2008 to 1 October 2008 will be eligible for 100% repayment of student loans. The outlook to extend
this program through FY 2014 is very good. For more information (eligibility, payments, ect.) please review

Officer Accession Incentive (OAI)
Effective 1 February 2008, Officer Candidate's that attend, successfully complete Officer Candidate School
and accept a commission this summer are eligible for a $4,000.00 lump sum incentive. This lump sum will
be granted upon reporting to The Basic School, Quantico, VA. THIS IS ONLY EXTENDED TO OCC (198)
CANDIDATE'S AND THOSE WHO WILL COMMISSION UPON COMPLETION OF OCS THIS SUMMER. For
